I just finished a week's work at one of Gemma International's design studios. It wasn't a paid week so I'm only treating it as a kind of work experience in the sense that I've never worked or even been in a design studio before. Gemma Int is mainly involved with cards, party wear, custom-made items and some advertising (from my understanding), which I think is entirely geared towards children's products, but as I knew someone who worked there I asked if I could possibly spend some time in the studio and do some work for them to gain experience, even though it's not exactly in the area of interest I want to pursue as a career (not an opportun

Finally got back to normal today since it wouldn't let me into windows last week... some system32 file missing apparently. After replacing the system32 folder with the original it came up with some password mismatch which totally blocked me from accessing windows, and kept rebooting the system for some weird reason. Anyway after getting an external box (two cos the original said it wouldn't be here for 2 weeks just after I ordered it, then showed up the day after the second one I ordered), I made a back up of everything onto my external HD, about 80gigs worth... on a USB 1.1 cable, no choice there (argh, 40+ hours of transferring!).
